Bridge to Nowhere: 11.09.13

A 11.8 mi, 1350 ft elevation gain hike to "Bridge to Nowhere" in the San Gabriel Mountains. The bridge, built in 1936, was part of the East Fork road construction project abandoned after a great flood in 1938. Currently, a private company operates a bungee jumping business there (see video below). Along the river, we've met a number of gold seekers who shared with us their stories and showed their trophies. Temperatures were in the 70s F.
